Scarecrows are guarding the recently planted garlic cloves and onion sets.

Being creative helps to raise feelings of self-esteem. Self-confidence is also raised by making choices. Year 3 gardeners chose the colour of pansies to plant and the arrangement in containers. Four lovely containers with pansies, ivy and daffodil bulbs are outside the front of the school for all visitors to admire a great source of pride for our young gardeners.

Daffodils and ivy were kindly donated by Little Weed - a local border design/garden maintenance company.

We finished the term celebrating creativity by using resources found in the school grounds to make wreaths. The bases were made of dogwood and then each wreath was individually made using ivy, ribbons, rosemary and pine-cones. They looked lovely.
